Okay okay I know just by the title y'all will be judging me. Ever since the Twilight phenomenon, vampires is cliche. BUT you've got to read this series!
Ever watched True Blood? It's an HBO original series, starred by X-Men's Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer. The series is based on Charlaine Harris novel, Dead until Dark.
The series is... for adults, I think. First I watched it in HBO, so there's a lot of censorship going on. Then I decided to buy the DVD and my oh my, I think it's rated NC-17 hahahaha :P
Then I heard from my cousin that the series is based on a book, and I love to read the book first then watch the movie, coz I would want to know how the story ends, and book-version usually is way much better than movie-version, so I have to read the book.
As you could expect, the book was better.
I never really knew the Southern America thing. Why are these people considered the hillbillies by the New Yorker, why they have a very weird accent, and a weird grammar too! It's fascinating, to know another culture. But it sure is funny when you hear the stars talking in True Blood. Thank God for subtitles...
So, you can grab the Indonesian translation of Dead Until Dark in the nearest bookstore, and the original version too..
but if you want the dirty way... download it at www.4shared.com
REMEMBER, PIRACY IS A CRIME!

Usually, every holiday I get, I spend the most of it at home with books and movies and songs. I don’t know why, but I always read the Twilight Saga over and over again. I just love it!
I know I sounded like a typical teen, going with the trends but hey, even before they decided to make Twilight into a movie I already love it.
From the saga, I have to say my favorite is Midnight Sun. Even though I just read the partial draft, I still like it better than the others, because I get to see what’s inside of Edward’s mind. To really know what he was thinking about Bella.
Or maybe because I really want a guy to love me the way Edward loves Bella.
Ha, I’m just rambling now. It’s late, and my play list is the mellow tunes from John Mayer.
But seriously, you HAVE TO READ Midnight Sun. It’s in English, and sometimes the word is difficult to read, but hey, I guarantee you its worth it.

I just watch Twilight again for like, the hundredth times tonight. I really really looooooove Bella. Although I think the book is way better than the movie, I still mark that movie as a good one. Not too far from my expectations, for the vampires in the book will look much more beautiful than the movie.
So, let’s discuss the cast, shall we?
For the role Bella and Edward, I think Kirsten Stewart and Rob Pattinson nailed it. The chemistry was there, it’s cool. And for the rest of vampires, Carlisle, Emmett and Alice were perfect. Jasper’s hair really bugs me, and Rosalie isn’t as pretty as I expected. The books said she would be like, the most beautiful person on earth, but in the movie, well I can say Bella is way better-looking than her. Nikki Reed is pretty, but not that pretty to be Rosalie. Maybe Blake Lively will do better, or I don’t know, Megan Fox, perhaps? Perfect face, perfect body. I just can’t see Nikki Reed as Rosalie. And sure, I know beauty is relative. Everyone has their own perspective, this is mine.
What’s yours?

So, I've been reading Aladdin and Other Tales from The Arabian Night as bedtime stories these past few nights. It’s really good, y'know. The tales is enchanting and the characters' description is really detail. The stories have existed for like, a thousand years, more or less. It’s cool to imagine what the past is like, with the entire magic, secret palace, and jinnee! Oh how I love jinnee! When I was little I used to rub my lamp, just hoping that someday a jinnee might pop up and do miracles.
Actually, I still hope someday miracles would happen.
Here’s the picture of the book cover,
Enjoy!
